Strawflowers / Everlastings  (Xerochrysum bracteatum) are a favourite in Santie's garden and for the past few years, she's been growing them from seed. Once harvested, they are briefly enjoyed as a fresh cut flower and photographed in a variety of vases from her personal collection. The flowers are then dried to become part of Santie's dried arrangements that she sells in the gallery. A beautiful journey from seed to fruition.
